TRUST / TRANSPARENCY
Contact Automotive Compass
Send a correction, source document, technical question, testing proposal or automotive story lead.
Response details updated August 29, 2026
The most useful messages include a page URL, the exact point in question and evidence we can verify. We read every substantive correction request.
Editorial questions and story leads
Share a question that drivers repeatedly struggle to answer, a public safety document, an ownership pattern worth investigating or an original story lead. Please distinguish first-hand information from material received elsewhere.
Corrections
Include the page URL, quote the disputed sentence, explain why it is inaccurate and attach or link to a reliable source. We assess evidence rather than the seniority or commercial interest of the sender.
Product-testing proposals
Describe the exact product, supported vehicles, intended use, retail availability and what can be measured. Sending a sample does not guarantee coverage or a positive conclusion.
What we do not accept
We do not accept payment for undisclosed links, prewritten “independent” reviews, paid changes to technical conclusions or requests to hide a material commercial relationship.
Response expectations
Safety corrections and verifiable factual errors receive priority. We may not answer general repair questions that require hands-on diagnosis, and we cannot evaluate a specific vehicle from a short message alone.
